How discovery works

Browse by what you want to do, not by who paid for placement.

Updated 24 August 2026

Discovery is organised around what you want out of a place — a trek, a backwater stretch, a fort, a quiet beach, a weekend that does not need a flight — rather than around a list of famous names.

What surfaces is a mix of destination entries and Moments posted by travellers who went. The Moments matter: they are the ground-level version of a place, from someone with no reason to sell it to you.

What does not influence it

  • Paid placement. No one can buy a position, because we do not sell one.
  • Commission. We do not take a cut of anything you book, so there is no incentive to push a particular stay or operator.

Found something? The point is that you can plan around it without leaving — see Create your first trip.
